I had a nasty cold this past week that had me down and out in Bucks County. I went out to the thrift stores but didn’t end up with much. I bought a book on writing, Joe Hill’s Horns, which I haven’t read yet, a fun book on demons and monsters, a Rick & Morty case for my AirPods, and some sewing supplies, but nothing exciting.
I have been getting a lot of reading done, though. I will post a YouTube video at the end of the month discussing the books I completed in January. SPOILER—most of them have not been very good. Regina and I are working on the Book Worms Horror Zine, which should be available next week. This will be issue 4, the My Bloody Valentine issue. In addition to fiction, this issue will have a great selection of poetry. Make sure to pick up your copy before they sell out. There isn’t much to report on the puppet build, either. I glued down some fleece, which was not very exciting. I began writing my story for the Fear of Clowns anthology submission but haven’t written as much as I would have liked. I spent more time with NyQuil this week. Here are pics of the thrift store finds:

George the Cat Card #11
Nothing Gold Can Stay - Robert Frost
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
