Today I am going to see the movie Moonage Daydream in IMAX.
I have been a Bowie fan for as long as I can remember. I love the theatrical nature of his work as well as his ability to change and not stay stagnant in one style. I would read a lot about Bowie when I was younger and that is how I discovered Lou Reed/Velvet Underground, T. Rex and Mott the Hoople. Any group that had a Bowie connection I found that I loved them as well. I found All The Young Dudes on Vinyl at 2A Thrift for $2. CHEAP!
If all goes well, The Real Demons of Pop Culture will have a BONUS episode next Friday. My first interview for RDPC. This is a free bonus, you don’t have to do anything extra to listen. But make sure you are following the podcast so you don’t miss these interviews when they pop up. The interviews will be with someone who is an expert in a field related to the occult or has some connection to horror.
I am working on The Real Demons of Pop Culture coloring book. The Ars Goetia Vol I. It will have 24 demons illustrated by my good friend Chris Blake Sasser. Here is the first illustration of Agares, Duke of Hell.
I am super excited for this project to become a reality. When complete you will be able to purchase the books on Amazon. There will be 3 volumes, each with 24 demons.
From there I plan to be working on a comic strip with Chris, also called The Real Demons of Pop Culture (until the Real Housewives lawyers come after me). If you ever saw Ricky Gervais’ show EXTRAS, this comic will be kinda like that but with demons. More to come on that.
Yesterday I went to Van Sant (Cry Baby) Bridge in New Hope to record a video. That should be posting within the next week. Subscribe to my YouTube channel so you don’t miss it.
I am seeking an extroverted person to reach out to local haunts so I can get permission to record a series of videos. I am socially handicapped. If you know anyone, let me know.
NEW IN THE OFFICE OF DEMONOLOGY & THE DARK ARTS
The Regan MacNeil action figure. Notice that the figure is packaged with her body backwards and her head facing forward. Clever.
I hope you have an amazing week.
Peace,
James
