JUDAS BLACK
I still haven’t finished editing the Judas Black short story. I have nothing else to say about that except I am trying.
BOOK WORMS
A new episode of Book Worms was posted this past Friday. Regina and I give our thoughts and feelings on the following quote by Isaac Bashevis Singer:
“Every creator painfully experiences the chasm between his inner vision and its ultimate expression. The chasm is never completely bridged. We all have the conviction, perhaps illusory, that we have much more to say than appears on the paper.”
Get ready because the Carnival is coming to town. Book Worms co-host and author, Regina Saint Claire announced her next novel, CARNI and I can’t wait! And that cover—CREEPY! Act now and pre-order before it’s too late!
PUPPETS
This past week I received the foam and it was the correct foam. So using the pattern for the hand, I cut out 4 (you need two per hand), sandwich the armature into the hands, and glue it all together. I still have another pair of hands to complete and then it is on to the foam arms.
They aren’t perfect but they will be covered in fleece so I don’t think the slight imperfections will show in the end. Foam fingers crossed.
THRIFT STORE FIND
This week’s thrift store find: Brand new Hi8 cassettes. Anytime I find old tapes I pick them up. I plan on doing some little films for YouTube using old technology in the future. Speaking of YouTube…
YOUTUBE BOOK REVIEW
I am going to attempt to record and post my next book review on YouTube. It will be the book Creature Feature: Spooky Tales to keep you up all night. Here is the blurb:
Gather round as today’s most diabolically clever authors twist simple moments into otherworldly horrors. An empty baby stroller. A scratching underneath the bed. A farmhouse in the moonlight. With an unnerving sense of the macabre, these stories transform our greatest fears into bone-chilling realities. (Only available on Audible)
Satan willing, I will get it up late tonight. Otherwise, look for it tomorrow. In the meantime, subscribe to my channel so you never miss an episode.
